Urine Testing
The most widely used and preferred form of testing in the industry. At Camseth Occupational Testing we offer two types of urine testing, Lab Based testing and POCT (Point of Collection Testing). An express drug test is ideal when you need results instantly; but if you have time to wait, laboratory testing is more accurate than POCT. At Camseth Occupational Testing our staff are highly trained and offer a trusted, safe and confidential test environment. We will provide you with accurate results to help you identify and manage substance abuse in the workplace.
Lab Based Urine Testing
Lab testing provides the most reliable and accurate form of substance abuse testing, which is legally defensible and recognized by Construction Owners Association of Alberta (COAA) Canadian Model and the U.S. Department of Transportation (DOT). Negative tests can be known in 24-72 hours
Camseth will offer:
5/7 Panel screen – Amphetamine, MDMA, Cocaine, Opiate, 6-AM, Phencyclidine (PCP) and Cannabis (THC).
8 Panel – Same as 7 Panel + Oxycodone.
NON-DOT (9 Panel) - Amphetamine, MDMA,Cocaine, Opiate, 6-AM, Phencyclidine (PCP), Cannabis (THC), Oxycodone, and Hydrocodone.
10 Panel screen – Amphetamine, MDMA, Barbiturate, Benzodiazepine, Cocaine, Opiate, 6-AM, Phencyclidine (PCP), Cannabis (THC) Methadone, Methaqualone and Propoxyphene.
10 Panel + ETG - Amphetamine, MDMA, Barbiturate, Benzodiazepine, Cocaine, Opiate, 6-AM, Phencyclidine (PCP), Cannabis (THC) Methadone, Methaqualone, Propoxyphene and Ethyl Glucuronide (Urine Alcohol).
Point of Collection Testing
If you require test results sooner rather than later, Express (POCT) testing gets you results quickly. The POCT test results meet the same cut-off levels as laboratory results but are not recognized by the Canadian Model or the U.S. DOT. Instant urine drug test technologies like those used in POCT testing are not 100% accurate because the results are visually read and subject to the collector’s interpretation. Laboratory confirmation is required for all non-negative POCT tests to ensure accuracy and legal defensibility.
Camseth will offer:
Express 5/7 panel.
Express 8 panel = 7 panel + Oxy.
Express 10 panel.
Express 12 panel.

ORAL FLUID
Oral fluid drug testing is the preferred method for post-incident or reasonable suspicion situations because it provides a short window for substance detection with minimal potential for adulteration.
This drug screen option is extremely convenient as there are very few limitations as to where this test can be administered. We only offer Lab based oral fluid testing because this is the most accurate and reliable testing.
-
Breath Alcohol
Breath alcohol testing determines the concentration of alcohol in a breath sample. A breath alcohol test detects the current level of intoxication by measuring the alcohol in breath exhaled.
Breath alcohol testing is the most common method used to detect alcohol. The process is non-invasive and simple. This method generates legally defensible results to ensure that both employer and employee rights are protected.

Audiometric
It is essential to have an effective Hearing Conservation Program in place. Camseth Occupational Testing can help you start, maintain, or re-evaluate a Hearing Conservation Program to prevent workers from risking occupational hearing loss.
As well, audiometric testing helps employees identifying hearing loss early making it possible to prevent further damage and helps motivate employees to comply with hearing protection measures. In many workplaces, the ability to hear can prevent potentially fatal accidents.

Custom Hearing Protection
Custom made ear plugs will provide the best hearing protection. Many people don’t realize that occasional and intermittent noise in the workplace increases the rate of natural hearing loss. In conditions where noise is persistent or excessive, such as in construction and industrial environments, those who fail to properly protect their ears run a much higher risk of irreversible hearing loss.
Cerumen Management (wax removal)
Usually ear wax/cerumen does not accumulate in the ear canal, but it may clog the canal in some persons and may become impacted. When someone experiences the effects of impacted cerumen they may feel plugged, have sudden hearing loss or even loss of balance. We use state of the art equipment that uses irrigation to flush the ear. This machine is called the Earigator and it uses body temperature water at a regulated pressure for a non-invasive cleaning process.
